PRP and PRF explained
PRP — platelet rich plasma — starts with a small vial of your own blood, spun to concentrate the platelets and growth factors, then re-injected into the areas being treated. No foreign substances, no allergy risk: just your own regenerative signaling, amplified where you want it.
PRP contains platelets in liquid plasma; PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) goes further by also forming a fibrin scaffold that slowly releases growth factors over 7-10 days. That sustained release is why PRF has become the preferred option for most PRP therapy applications at Skinsation.
Best use cases: hair loss and hair restoration (scalp injections — the highest-volume use of platelet rich plasma at Skinsation), under-eye hollows (where traditional filler carries risk), fine lines, and as an enhancement to microneedling or Morpheus8 for amplified collagen response.

Standard phlebotomy — we draw 15-30mL of your blood into a specialized tube.

Spin
The tube goes into a centrifuge, separating the components by density. The platelet-rich layer (PRP) or the platelet-rich-fibrin layer (PRF) is extracted.
