What gives Aquagold its 'glass skin' result
The Aquagold device has 20 microscopic 24k gold-plated needles — each thinner than a strand of hair. They deliver a custom cocktail into the top layer of skin: diluted Botox (tightens pores, reduces oil), hyaluronic acid (immediate hydration), vitamins and growth factors.
This is NOT the same as a Botox injection. The Botox in Aquagold is highly diluted and delivered only to the surface — it works on sweat and oil glands and pore appearance without paralyzing expression muscles. Your face still moves normally.

Aquagold Questions
What is Aquagold?
Aquagold is a microinfusion device — 20 tiny 24-karat gold-plated microneedles (thinner than a human hair) that deliver a custom cocktail of micro-Botox, hyaluronic acid, vitamins, and/or growth factors into the top layer of skin. The result: poreless "glass skin" finish with minimal downtime.
What cocktail gets infused?
Typically a blend of diluted Botox (to tighten pores and reduce oiliness at the surface without muscle paralysis), hyaluronic acid (for immediate hydration), and skin brighteners or growth factors. The exact mix is customized per client.
How long do results last?
Immediate glow lasts 6-8 weeks. Most clients treat before events or on a 6-8 week maintenance cycle. It's especially popular as a pre-wedding or red-carpet treatment.
What's the recovery?
Essentially none. Mild pinpoint redness for 1-2 hours. Skin looks luminous immediately. Light makeup acceptable the same day.
Does it hurt?
Minimal. The 24k gold microneedles are thinner than a hair. Topical numbing is applied before — most clients describe it as mild pressure or a vibrating sensation.
Micro-Botox vs regular Botox — is this the same?
No. Regular Botox paralyzes expression muscles. Micro-Botox at the surface level (what Aquagold delivers) works on sweat glands, oil production, and pore appearance — no muscle effect, no frozen look. Think of it as a skin treatment using diluted Botox, not a Botox treatment.
