The natural alternative to filler
PRF gel filler is platelet-rich fibrin from your own blood, processed into a gel-form natural filler that is placed like a dermal filler. It holds volume on placement while releasing growth factors over the following week, so you get the immediate look and the regenerative healing together. The most popular use: the under-eye tear trough.
The big win is under the eyes. The tear-trough area has notoriously tricky anatomy: traditional hyaluronic-acid filler risks migration, a bluish Tyndall effect, and a puffy look if misplaced. PRF gel sidesteps those risks because it is your own tissue. It metabolizes rather than sits, which is why it is our default under-eye filler.
Volume lasts about 3 to 4 months, and the regenerative effect lingers longer. Many clients do 2 to 3 sessions to build a foundation, then maintain with periodic refills. A small amount of blood is drawn, 15 to 30 mL, just like a standard blood test.

What is PRF gel filler?
Platelet-rich fibrin from your own blood, processed into a gel-like consistency that can be placed the way a dermal filler is. Standard PRF is liquid; the gel form holds volume on placement, so it can replace or complement hyaluronic-acid filler in sensitive areas.
Is this the same as "EZ Gel"?
Yes. EZ Gel is the brand of PRF gel system Skinsation LA uses to prepare the treatment; the name belongs to its manufacturer. If you searched for PRF EZ Gel in Los Angeles, this is that treatment.
How is it different from regular PRP or PRF?
Regular PRP and PRF are liquid and spread diffusely for tissue regeneration. The gel is thicker: it acts like a natural, temporary filler while also releasing growth factors over the following week or so. You get visible volume and the regenerative response in one treatment.
How is it different from HA filler?
It is made from your own blood, so there is nothing foreign in it. It lasts less time than hyaluronic-acid filler (roughly 3 to 4 months of volume versus 6 to 18) but avoids filler-specific issues such as migration, the bluish Tyndall effect under the eyes, and granulomas. For under-eyes it is often the safer first choice.
How long does it last?
Volume: about 3 to 4 months. The regenerative effect builds for 3 to 6 months after treatment. Many clients do 2 to 3 sessions to build a foundation, then maintain with occasional refills.
What areas does it treat?
Under-eyes (tear trough) are the number-one use because the anatomy there makes the gel the safest option. It also works for light volume in the cheeks, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and neck lines.
What is the downtime?
Swelling and bruising at the injection sites for 24 to 48 hours. There is no downtime from the blood draw itself. Recovery is similar to filler.
How much is PRF gel filler under the eyes?
Under-eye (tear trough) PRF gel filler is $750 per session at Skinsation LA. A session covers one to two areas, so under-eyes can be paired with another area in the same visit if your plan calls for it. Multi-session packages are discussed at the consultation.
