Morpheus8 Questions
What is Morpheus8?
Morpheus8 is fractional radiofrequency (RF) microneedling — tiny needles deliver RF energy into deeper skin layers (up to 4mm). The microneedles trigger collagen induction; the RF heat remodels and tightens the deeper tissue. It's skin tightening + texture improvement + scar remodeling in one device.
How many sessions do I need?
Most clients complete a series of 3 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart. You'll see progressive tightening through the series and for 3-6 months after the final treatment as new collagen continues to build.
What's the recovery?
Redness and swelling for 2-3 days. Pinpoint tracks from the microneedles visible for 24-48 hours. Makeup acceptable on day 2. No strenuous exercise, saunas, or sun for 3-4 days.
Morpheus8 vs traditional microneedling?
Traditional microneedling (with or without PRP) works at the dermis level for texture and tone. Morpheus8 reaches much deeper (up to 4mm) and delivers RF heat at depth — which is what gives it tightening results traditional microneedling doesn't produce.
Is it safe for all skin tones?
Yes. Unlike some lasers, RF energy doesn't target melanin, so Morpheus8 is safe across all Fitzpatrick skin types including deeper skin tones. Risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation is very low.
What's the difference between Partial Face and Face + Neck?
Partial Face ($650) covers a defined zone — typically jawline, lower face, or chin area. Face + Neck ($950) is the full face plus neck and the jawline continuation. Neck tightening compounds well with face tightening.
Is anything better than Morpheus8?
Ultherapy vs Morpheus8: if you want to correct your skin's surface texture, reduce the appearance of scars, and tighten up your skin, Morpheus8 would be a good fit. If you desire a deeper lift without doing any surface damage, Ultherapy may work best for you.
Is 40 too old for microneedling?
Microneedling is usually safe for older skin. It's gentle and helps build collagen. The right plan depends on your skin, your health, and the treatment used — at our office we tailor depth and session count to your starting point and goals.
