A light touch is intentional — injectables should soften expressions, not erase them.
Chemical peels apply controlled acid to exfoliate skin at a specific depth — from light refresh to dramatic renewal. We pick the acid (glycolic, lactic, salicylic, TCA) and strength for your skin type, concern, and how much downtime you can accept.
Light peels (glycolic, lactic, salicylic) refresh the surface — great for brightness, congestion, mild texture. Done as a 4-6 session series.
Medium-depth peels (TCA) reach into the upper dermis — transformational improvement in tone, texture, and fine lines. One session produces significant change but takes 5-7 days of visible peeling to recover.
Same $350 session — your provider picks the acid + strength based on your skin type, concerns, and how much downtime you can accept. Light = no real recovery. Medium = 5-7 days of visible peeling.
An alpha-hydroxy acid that exfoliates the topmost layer for brighter, more even skin. Best for first-timers, dullness, sun damage, and mild texture. Mild redness day-of; light flaking 2-4 days. Done as a 4-6 session series spaced 3-4 weeks apart.
Your provider reviews skin type, concerns, and downtime tolerance to pick the right peel.
Skin thoroughly degreased. Protective barrier applied around eyes and lips.
Peel solution applied layer by layer. Mild stinging during; neutralized when reaching the planned endpoint.
Post-peel cooling and ceramide-heavy aftercare. Peeling begins 1-3 days later, completing within 5-7.
Pricing from GHL calendar. Peel series packages at consult.
A look at how Skinsation LA approaches resurfacing — depth, downtime, and the kind of skin clarity that follows.
I’m 3/4 sessions in on a Co2 cool peel and the staff has been super helpful and knowledgeable. I have no idea what I’m doing so it’s been great to get help! I definitely trust them, they’re not trying to sell you anything, just offer help and advice for what is best for you. Super nice and it’s always a good experience.
Absolutely LOVE this place. Holly did my chemical peel, she’s very professional and knowledgeable. While Farah is the sweet and very attentive.
From walking in the door with the two nicest front desk ladies, initial consult with Jenny booking appointment, and getting my lip fillers. I was more impressed first. I wasn't oversold on anything in the initial consult, which speaks volumes. Went thru a plan of attack on my acne, and so far, so good! Alix was also great when getting the fillers' informate and realistic expectations. Customer service, services, all 10/10. Will be coming back in and recommend it to anyone!
Did 3 sessions of coolpeel laser to treat my acne scars. The process takes a while to fully heal but the results look great. Great service and friendly staff!

Every unit is placed with a plan for how your face actually moves — refined, subtle, patient-first.
I trained as an internist before I trained in aesthetics. That order matters. It's why every plan we build at Skinsation starts with the patient — not the procedure.
A controlled application of acids (glycolic, salicylic, lactic, TCA — depending on depth) that exfoliates the top layers of skin. Over the following 5-7 days, treated skin peels off, revealing smoother, more evenly-toned skin underneath.
Light peels (glycolic, lactic, salicylic) exfoliate the top layer — mild redness and light flaking, no real downtime. Medium-depth peels (TCA) reach deeper — visible peeling for 5-7 days, dramatic improvements in tone and texture. We'll recommend the depth for your goals and schedule.
Light peels: a series of 4-6 spaced 3-4 weeks apart. Medium peels: 1 session can produce significant improvement, with optional repeats every 6-12 months.
Light peel: mild flaking days 2-5, fully presentable. Medium peel: visible peeling days 3-7, often with days 4-5 being the most noticeable. Strict sun avoidance for 2+ weeks.
Glycolic (alpha-hydroxy, surface refresh), salicylic (beta-hydroxy, oil-soluble — best for acne and congested pores), lactic (gentlest), Jessner (a layered combination for stronger results), and TCA (medium-depth for transformational tone and texture work). The right peel is matched to your skin type, concerns, and downtime tolerance.
At Skinsation LA, individual peels are $350. The acid type and depth chosen for your skin are included in that price — we do not upcharge for medium-depth TCA over a glycolic. Series packages discounted at consult.
The cost of a chemical peel in Los Angeles can vary depending on the type of peel and the specific concerns you wish to address. On average, the price for a chemical peel typically ranges from $200 to $600 per session.
You can continue Hydroquinone up until the time of the peel and after, but you must stop Tretinoin 7-10 days prior to your chemical peel. This is because Tretinoin can increase the depth of dermal penetration of peeling products and this can lead to complications.
