Renuva is an injectable allograft adipose matrix — a natural scaffold derived from donated, processed human fat tissue. It's injected into areas where age or weight loss has thinned your fat, and over the following months your body regenerates its own new fat within it.
This is not a hyaluronic acid filler that sits in place and breaks down, and it's not a surgical fat transfer. Renuva is a simple in-office injection: the matrix gives your own cells a scaffold to move into, and over roughly 3-6 months your body gradually replaces it with your own new fat tissue.

Unlike hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal filler — which sits in place as a gel and is eventually broken down by the body — Renuva acts as a scaffold that your body replaces with its own new fat over time, so the restored volume is your own tissue. It is also not a surgical fat transfer: there is no liposuction, no harvesting of your own fat, and no surgery. Renuva is a simple in-office injection of donor-derived matrix.
How long until I see results from Renuva?
Renuva works gradually. You will see early volume from the injection itself, but the meaningful, natural result builds over roughly 3 to 6 months as your body regenerates its own fat tissue within the matrix. Patience is part of the treatment — this is a regenerative process, not an instant fill.
