PDGF — platelet-derived growth factor — is one of the body's most potent wound-healing growth factors. It's a signaling protein that tells skin cells to repair, rebuild, and produce new collagen. Microneedling opens thousands of micro-channels in the skin; a concentrated PDGF growth-factor product is then driven through those channels to amplify the natural repair response.
The pairing works on two fronts. The microneedling triggers the wound-healing cascade — new collagen, new elastin. The PDGF growth factor amplifies that response: it helps stimulate collagen production, accelerates healing, and boosts skin renewal. PDGF here is a concentrated, ready-to-use growth-factor product applied topically with the microneedling — no blood draw, a consistent dose every time. Many clients prefer PDGF for the predictability and the needle-free serum step.
How is PDGF different from PDRN?
They're both regenerative add-ons driven into microneedled skin, but they work differently. PDGF is a growth factor — a signaling protein that drives collagen production and wound healing. PDRN is a polynucleotide made from salmon DNA that supports the skin's own repair pathways and hydration.
