So what’s PRF and how does it work?

A small amount of your blood is drawn from your arm, then spun in a centrifuge. Unlike PRP, PRF injections do not use anticoagulants to separate blood components. Instead, it relies on a gentle, slow-speed spinning process to separate the blood into three distinct layers: red blood cells, PRF, and platelet-poor plasma (PPP). The middle layer, known as PRF, is rich in platelets, white blood cells, fibrin, and growth factors. This is what we use to inject.
