Point Dume

Your trip to Los Angeles must include a drive along the Pacific Coast Highway where you will get a spectacular view of the blue ocean on the side and the beautiful mountains of Malibu on the other. As you head deep, you will come across Point Dume, a promontory point filled with beautiful beaches, soaring cliffs, and the beauty of wildlife. Some of the wildlife you will see are whale spouts and sea lions. It has over 1-mile ocean frontage and a 34-acre of sand.

On clear days, you will be able to view the beauty of distant Catalina Island and Santa Monica Bay. It is also a perfect place to spot grey whales during their migration, which is usually around December to March. Point Dume is packed with great amenities like showers, restrooms, parking spaces, restaurants, and hiking trails. It offers all sorts of activities like swimming, surfing, diving, and scuba diving. If you are up for an adventure, make sure you take the time to visit Point Dume. You can also visit nearby beaches like Zuma Beach, which is a perfect spot for chilling and tanning. It is a great way to relax and unwind, especially if you are tired of visiting downtown LA.
